Yep Kindergarten just got a little more real.

In the mail today we got DD's teacher and room assignment.  She will be going from 8:45am-12:05pm.  Plus she got accepted into the Kinder Readiness Summer Program.  This is to work on both social and academic skills for Kinder (she is in this just to get her used to the new transition.  She has a hard time with transition.)  It is for 8 days in Aug. 15-18th and 22nd-25th from 9am-12pm.  

Oh and she starts summer school on Monday which will be the whole month of July from 12-3pm.  Sigh this summer is going to fly by.

Tell me about it!  We got our letter last week and fortunately for me she's in the late program, 9:25 to 2:25!  We don't get teacher/room assignments until August.  When does school start for you guys?  Ours is August 24th.

Ack!! I'm freaking out for you!! I just realized today that July is right around the corner and then August is going to come so quickly and I'm not ready for the boys to turn 5 and head on off to kinder either.

August 31st.   We asked for her to be in the early start because she freaks out if she has to go into a class with kids already there.

I can't believe so many of you are SO close!! Exciting times!! Can't wait to see all the first day of school pictures and posts.

I *think* we're going private, but our public school doesn't tell you anything until a couple of weeks before school starts (which is Aug.15) - same with the on-site after school program (and they've eliminated most of the bus schedule).  Real nice when you're trying to plan child care...
