...recurrent miscarriages.

Safe to say the appt did not go well.  We saw a sac measuring approx 5 weeks or so and something in there possibly measuring about 5 weeks and some change.  It probably never even had a heartbeat this time.

I went straight from the dr appt/ultrasound to start bloodwork.  Drew for HCG but they also took another dozen or so vials so hopefully we can get some answers sooner rather than later.  The doctor mentioned MTHFR (which in my head is always pronounced "motherf*cker"), possible luteal phase defect, taking baby asprin, and going on 4mg of folic acid, as well as starting progesterone as close to ovulation as possible.  But we'll see how the bloodwork comes back (should be by next week hopefully).

I'm hoping the miscarriage completes naturally this time, otherwise I'll probably take a dosage of Cytotec (conveniently left over from the last time) on Friday and be done with it.

I knew this was a possibility...I just feel pretty lost right now...

Also, FWIW, after my second miscarriage I was diagnosed with what's written in my siggy, then started aspirin and extra folic acid and the third time the baby stuck. I'm still anxious that something will happen but it was good to get things figured out. I hope that they can help you.
