I EBF and pump once a day so that I can give DD a bottle every couple of days (just so she knows how).  On average I would say I get .5 to .75 ounces when I pump (so frustrating).  So, it takes me a long time to get one bottles worth.  I have no idea how I'm going to have enough milk to pump for a bottle and to mix with cereal every day.  Anyone else have this dilemma?

I EBF at home and pump at work and it's hard to keep up with his demands while pumping some days.  But to make sure I pump enough for when he's at daycare I pump every night after I put him in bed and I get an additional 1-2 oz.  Try that if you're not already doing it.  Some days I don't have enough for his cereal too, so those days I'll use formula.

Do you pump right away in the AM after your LO's first feeding?  Your supply is highest then and you'll be likely to get the most.  I do that and also, like the pp said, I also pump in the evening after LO goes to bed.  It's a lot of pumping, but I like to know that I'll have too much rather than not enough!

I used to just use water with DD1s cereal. I had trouble remembering to have 1/2 oz of milk on hand for it. I also would sometimes use formula. But really she hated cereal so I didn't have much to worry about!

Try pumping after your morning feeding and after your evening feeding. That's nhow I built up my freezer stash before returning to work.

With DS, I pumped before his AM feeding.  I got a ton of stockpile and he had enough when he ate an hour later.
