anyone use a Peanut Shell sling?

Or any other baby sling? I have a baby Bjorn air but DD seems to really like being cuddled during her fussy times. I got my Peanut Shell from Amazon and it's such a pain to put her in it. My bigger concern is that she's curled into a C that her chin is tucked to her chest. I followed the direction.

Do you have a sling that you use and recommend? I haven't tried the Moby but it just seems like it's a lot of work.

Re: anyone use a Peanut Shell sling?

  • I liked the Peanut shell in early days with DS. He did look super curled up in there but I think it mimics the womb and makes them feel safe. I also used it with the hip carry when he got a bit bigger. They're so easy to throw in a diaper bag and use when needed. Did yours come with the DVD on how to use it? I definitely watched it a couple of times lol.

  • I had one with DD that i used. You should be able to roll up a receiving blanket to prop behind their back and head to help if he seems to far down in there.

  • this is of no help, but i had one with dd and i had the same problem you are having.  it just looks like the head isn't positioned correctly.  i gave up on it after a few weeks.  dd would just cry every time i put her in it.  she preferred more upright carriers, like the baby bjorn and later the ergo.
