1) big, gianormous poopy diaper
2) sand EVERYWHERE
3) being a crazy toddler
ugh.
He had a poopy right before his nap and I was all "awesome! maybe he'll sleep longer!" yeah, right, he fooled me!
and the sand, oh god, the sand. apparently, he smuggled a load of sand home from the playground this morning in the little pocket in his t-shirt. This all stayed put until he started rolling around in his crib. When I got him up to change his diaper it was all over the place--in the sleep sack, all over the sheet, blankets and stuffed animals, in the diaper....gross, and I'm sure pretty uncomfortable for him :-(
now he is pretending that his paci is a hammer, slamming it into the side of the crib saying "bang! bang! bang!"
awesome.
Re: things that can disrupt napping
this past winter, when DD was 2, we used 3 PJs during the coldest months (2 at other times), a cotton on her body, and 2 fleece ones over that
OP - sounds horrible, I honestly cant't sand and the mess it makes! DD has only ever touched sand once and hated it.
Dear BH,
Trufax, I totally thought your subject line was referring to the EverLoved, EverElusive MamaNap. I was sadly disappointed by the contents of your post.
