go away!

Is it a bad sign that I want all the visitors to go away and leave me alone?  They aren't doing anything wrong and are being really helpful and great with LO, but I just don't want to talk to anybody except DH.  I had to go outside today when my parents were here so I didn't blow up at them.  They invited us over to dinner tomorrow and I really don't want to go because it's just so much work to travel with her.  I really feel like being a hermit!

Re: go away!

  • Dh and I have neglected to return a few calls when the voice mail was all about seeing C.  Yesterday DH and had a grad party we were suppose to go to, but DH had a migraine so we didn't end up going.  I felt bad he had a migraine, but not that we sat around all day and did nothing.  Especially since he had to go to drill today so I have an extra day just me and C.

  • I was so like that with my first and began to hate having visitors, even family.  I'm starting to go through that at times now. It is so understandable. you just want to do your routine and spend time with your lo.  it will eventually die down.  also, I learned don't be afraid to say no.

  • We've had 5 visitors since our LO was born. Sad I wish more people would come over. I was on bedrest for 2 months prior and the walls are caving in on me.
