Why do you have to wait until after school gets out to be open during the week? I'm not in school, my 2 year old is not in school, how come we don't count??

...and if you hadn't noticed, it's hot as the flames of hell outside. I want to go to the mothereffing pool!!!!!!

*stomps around like my two year old throwing a tantrum*

that stinks...our neighborhood has 2 pools, one that opens at 10 every day and onet hat opens at 4pm and on the weekends until school is out...

though in all honesty, its so hot out there i dont even know how refreshing a pool would be:(

I think a lot of lifeguards are still in school.  I know that the guards at our pool are either teachers or high school students.

yeah, that's what I figured...but there have to be some college students available, right??

I hear ya!  We only get to go on the weekends, but naps are from 1-3 so we don't even head over until around 4 then it's back home for bed by 7.  Arrggh!

yeah, that's what I figured...but there have to be some college students available, right?? 

I think that used to be the case, where all the lifeguards are students; nowadays it seems they are all from Eastern Europe.

The hours at our neighborhood pool are terrible...it doesn't even open until noon on the weekends!

I know!  Tomorrow is my flex day and I was all set to take DD to Special Harbour or the water park - neither of which are open.
