I'm so sorry to hear this. I thought this post would be happy news that you had an unexpected pregnancy and I'm so heartbroken to read what a rough road your sweet Kate has ahead of her. Your sweet baby and family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry to read this news. Please know that Kate and your family will be in our prayers. I hope that a match is found quickly and that Kate has a speedy recovery.
Oh my god - I'm so sorry, LCB. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts. Best wishes for the fastest, smoothest recovery possible, and for minimal side effects throughout her treatments. Again, I'm so sorry - no one should have to see their child suffer - it's not fair.
Please, please, please everyone. Get on the bone marrow registry like, yesterday. Donating can be uncomfortable, yes, but knowing that you have helped a child, a mother, a brother get healthier is well worth it. DO IT. It's not hard.
I am so heartbroken to hear this. I know Kate will fight through this and come out the other side much stronger, but I am so sorry she has to fight in the first place. I know, though, that this will most likely be even harder on you - it seems like as mothers we feel our children's pain x10! Praying for strength and comfort for you and for Kate, and for the rest of your family. Also praying for a quick match and wisdom for her doctors!
If you decide to post on your blog, I will be happy to link mine up to cover her in more prayers!
I'm just seeing this now, and I'm so terribly sorry for this recent diagnosis. I know Kate will be the strong fighter she has always been, and you and your husband will be giving her all the love and support she needs. My prayers are with you all through this.
I will be praying for Kate and your family. I remember your kind words when I was asking questions about bone marrow biopsies and testing. I am so sad to hear of this diagnosis, but glad that you have top medical care close to your home. I will continue to pray and remember to reach out to everyone here for support whenever you need it...take care.
Just reading this now. My heart breaks for little Kate! She will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. You are a strong woman and will get Kate and your family through this, but be sure to lean on us when needed. (((HUGS)))
I'm so sorry to hear about Kate. I know you have posted here about her before and I don't post very often but whenever I see her pretty little face in your siggy- I wondered how she was doing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family, I cannot imagine what your going through. Please keep us posted.
I'm so sorry to hear this! Every positive thought I have is headed your way. You are one tough cookie and I'm sure Kate got that from you, too. Always remember, bumpies stick together, so if you need us we're here.
LCB you, Alex, and especially Kate will be in my thoughts and prayers. I just joined the National Registry. Please keep us updated, and let me know if there is absolutely anything I can do for you or your family.
Re: Saying it means it is real...
Just read the myths and facts sheet... did not know it was that easy. I always wanted to donate but it scared me off. I'm going to register.
I hope someone out there can help sweet Kate.
Oh wow. She's going to get through this. You will have so many good thoughts and prayers coming your way.
I'm keeping you, your dh and sweet Kate in my thoutghts and prayers, LCB. Don't give up on hope!
