Req's please - moving & storage, furnished housing

Hi Ladies,

We are closing on the sale of our house on 6/30, but just learned that our new one is late to be finished...8/1.  We need to find furnished temp housing for us (+1 cat).

Also, we need recommendations for moving companies, storage for all our stuff for a month.

Ideas?  THANKS!!  This all just happened today!!  And I locked myself out of the house with Zach sleeping inside!  Good day!

Jordan River does moving and storage. They have specials on their website I think, plus if you tell them you heard about them on Angie's list you save 10%.

No help on the housing.

I don't know where you live or where you plan to live, but I know there are a lot of places by Microsoft that do month to month and furnished geared toward the contract employees.  I would suggest looking there.  Have you thought of staying in a hotel?  I don't know what type of rate they would give you, and the cat may be an issue too, but maybe someone would be willing to work with you?

PODS are pretty reasonable - they drop off the container, you fill, they pick up, store it and then deliver to new location.
