IPAD 1 in store - WHERE?! Need help fast

Ok, so here's the gig. Its my birthday and DH bought me....ready for this? 130.00 hot rollers. Yes, I've asked for hot rollers in the past and "a nice set" instead of the cheapo 20 buck sets at Walmart but that was before I had 2 kids and realistically barely enough time to put on clean underwear much less wash, dry and set my hair. I'm irritated. I know he tried but the "cost per use" is going to be astronomical.

Secondarily, we need a new DVD player for DD for our 1800 mile road trip that we leave for on Sat. The cheapest one is 100 bucks.

So now, tallying the total, we're at 230.00 for crap that will either not be used or break in a month. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

I'll take an Ipad, solve the probs for DD's DVD player and have something I'd rather use on a nearly daily basis.

BUT Target doesn't have them, Apple store doesn't have them, Walmart doesn't have them and Apple.com's shipping isn't able to be expedited (3-5 biz days and that is cutting it close for us leaving and I don't want to count on it and then not be able to use it for the DVD thing)

I was going to say amazon and sign up for the amazon prime to get 2 day shipping (or add 1 day shipping for $3.99) BUT- yowza, they are over $400 on amazon! Ugh, you need to have one....not sure what you can do, can you check stores for walmart (enter different zipcodes of places where friends/family live who can go get it and overnight it to you?) I don't think Target offers that but that is where we got ours I believe.
