My nurse won't discuss supplements... she said I coud take one if I wanted to. My friend takes DuetDHA, but that is prescription, so I am looking for an OTC DHA supplement that doesn't leave fishy burps - I have heard this can occur!
Anyone take DHA supplements with relatively no adverse effects? I've been taking an Omega-3 supp, but I noticed that it does not have enough DHA.

Re: DHA supplement
This. I take it before bed and have no problems.
On the Expecta box it says it's made from a non-fish source of DHA. I have been taking them my entire pregnancy with no problems.
I've been taking Nature's Choice enteric-coated fish oil supplments for years and have continued with my docs blessing duirng pregnancy. If you buy the enteric-coated they don't break down until they are in your intestines - thus no fish burps!
Also take them at the beginning of a meal so all your food is on top of the pill - that helps as well.
