I know we have done this before, but it has been a while and I have a hard time remembering. Plus we have plenty of new people who I am sure would be interested.
DH & I both are Auburn grads, we met at AU, got married in our campus chapel & I joined the knot back during the planning stages. Got married in 06. Not creative but it worked!

In an attempt to remain as anonymous as possible in case anyone I know in real life is on the bump (or the knot at the time), I literally closed my eyes and hit some keys. I kind of wish I hadn't done it that way since my screename makes no sense, but it's been too many years now and I'm not starting over with a new one.
It took 3 1/2 long years, but we finally got our little miracle!
IVF #1 - BFP (6dt)
Unassisted Pregnancy #2 - lost at 15w6d due to T21, severe heart defects, and fetal hydrops
Ned is my older dog's name (and I think he's super!).
I've always felt badly that my sn only includes his name and not my other dog, but I didn't have her when I first joined TK many, many years ago. I should have an AE named amazingbetsy!
Mine's boring... grew up in NJ + live in DC = njdcgirl.

that's funny...whenever I see your name I think "Wed (like married) 23" So I always thought maybe you were married on the 23rd of some month!

It is actually my maiden name and bday. It was the screenname I used for lots of stuff at the time of the Knot, and little did I know it would stay with me for almost 10 yrs!
But rarely did my friends call me by my first name. It was always some variation of Beebe, which by the way is BB, so beebs, beeb, beebE, are all "me"
Mine is sooooo boring! I originally joined the knot and posted a couple things on the local board. I remember just wanting to post something in response to someone who was asking about my venue and thinking that my sn didn't really matter. Then I never bothered to change it.
So kme was my initials (maiden name) and 930 (September 30th) was my wedding date.
I changed mine when I came over from the Knot because some IRL people found me based on some info about out wedding planning. I wanted to be as anonymous and generic as possible and this is all I could come up with. It's pretty lame because, while my husband does play the guitar, he doesn't do so professionally or anything... Oh well!!
It was a cutesy pet name DH and I called each other (jokingly, not like the Seinfeld "Shmoopie" thing) at the time I first joined back in 2003 during wedding planning.
My name is Emily, but no one really calls me emmy, so I am not sure why I picked that part. Stu are the first 3 letters of my last name and the "lou" just because it kind of all went together like cindylouwho or the nickname for our pup - libbyloustu.

I have had people think that I am in a cult, yeah - OK.
Anyway, mine goes way back to when I first signed up for aol.
I wanted something like AmyColin, tried tons of variations. Everything I tried was not available.
Thought that when you said ColinAmy together, it kinda sounded like Colony. This also was not available I am from NY, so I wanted NYColony. But, when I typed it, I actually typed mycolony (with a M), it was available - so I took it. I was trying for about an hour to get a screen name. So, when it accepted something I put in, I didn't even care.
I used this same screen name when I signed on with theKnot (mycolony) - but when I was automatically switched over to theNest, I could not update my bio. And, as a newlywed - this was the end of the world lol. So, I created a new screen name, and added the NJ to the end (where I now live). I added capital letters since I find it easier to remember people when they have real words in their screen names
And, now with 4 kids, I really do have my own colony lol.
well, I had a screen name from the knot but it had my last name on it so when I joined TB actively, I changed my name. I am not good at making up screennames, lol! I live in New Orleans, which we all refer to as NOLA, so I just used that and chick and one of my lucky numbers!
mine is kinda obvious. lol! in high school and college, I always liked being the "lady whatever-your-mascot-is" so when I was staring at the nest screen, I just added that to my city. :-)
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
I kept mine from the Knot, so I was a bride in OC (Ocean City) where we were married. But, most people think that it's OC as in Orange County, California.

Pretty boring/obvious for me -- as a kid I loved the Muppet Show and I initially wanted a name that didn't use any part of my real name. For some reason, the (.) got inserted between the words and I was too lazy to go back and fix it.
After 20 months, 3 Clomid cycles and 4 IUI cycles, IVF #1 with ICSI = BFP!
I'm kind of a lurker but want to play... Before IF, a complicated pregnancy and some DS health problems I thought I had it all pretty well figured out. So, its kind of making fun of myself for thinking I used to know it all. And I joined the bump really late at night... which contributed to the weird thought process.
Succes after IF - DXN PCOS 2008
Surpise BFP 7/2009
Baby B was born 2/2010
Baby A is on her way; surprise! Due 2/2012
Gypsy is my cat's name and when I was in law school my parents would send the occasional care package but always addressed it to Gypsy Doodle LastName, Esq. at my address. It always cracked me up so I started using GypsyEsq as a standard screen name.
p.s. Doodle was apparently my cat's middle name according to my grandpa.

I used to be Home_slice and then wanted something different. I say " I love my girls" all the time around here so that's just what came to mind. I attempted a few screennames and they were taken (LoveMyGirls, ILoveMyGirls, etc) so I changed it to a z at the end and voila.
Re: Non-Clicky Poll: How did u come up with your screename?
Prior to having Hayden I was a teacher. At the time I taught in a small country school. So my screename breaks down like this:
mrs olsen (what my kids called me) + k12 (the grades I taught)= mrsolsenk12

Mine's easy....my name is Jennifer...everyone calls me Jen.
It had *s on either side, but the bump messed it up and I had to start over a few months ago with +s....so I'm back to being a Newbie.

Because we're fancy like that.
Mine is lame! When I signed up for the Knot I didn't really realize my screen name would ever be seen.

It's my first name and how old I was when I joined the Knot way back during wedding planning.
Looking back I should've been more original.
