Look, I'm high maintenance to the max, and I live for dressing my kids in cute clothes...
but they still look like they walked off the pages of Redneck Monthly about 1x per day. And it happens in public, too, if we have a quick errand.
Jackson sweats so much his hair will be soaked. It's so gross. And he uses his clothes as a napkin. When it is 90+ degrees outside, I have no desire to wrestle him into clean clothes just to go to Target.
Hopefully he won't go begging for money or sell crack on the corner, but we'll see...

My kids are like this too. I give them a shower every night right before bed and I swear when they wake up in the morning their faces are clean for about 2 minutes and then they are dirty again. I can't keep up. Hopefully it'll get better once my Grandfather's pool is open and they are spending most of their time swimming during the day...
Actually- I just thought about when they go to summer camp this year. Nathan and Morgan are going M/W/F from 12:30-3 from 6/27-8/5...it'll be interesting to see how dirty they will be when I go to pick them up- lol!
Is there anyone that doesn't have this happen to them sometimes? If so, I'd question whether or not their kids were really playing or just sitting around doing nothing. That's just based on experience, though.
My kids frequently look like little dirtballs. Especially if I have to run an errand with them after daycare. I used to care, but now? Whatever. People can judge me all they want. That's not to say I don't make an effort to clean them up or keep them clean, but I swear, while I'm wiping one down, the other gets messy again. Its neverending.
I wish that I could wrap my head around this phenomenon LOL My youngest constantly looks like Pig Pen to the point that I carry diaper wipes specifically to wipe his face when we are out and about. It's not in the winter either, but once the weather warms up, man oh man my kid gets dirty.

I swear to God that DD is a dirt magnet. That child can eat a cracker and be filthy 4 minutes after I put clean clothes on her.
I give them a once over with a wet cloth a couple of times a day and hope that they stay clean overnight after a bath. It's the best I can hope for.

Is there a support group for this? I swear my kids are dirt/stain magnets.
