Its seems liek you guys get so many and I'm really upset because I have my nt scan in a couple of weeks and then I guess I won't have one until the 18-20 week one? I'm not happy about that. And then after that, who knows? I think I should be getting one at least once a moth with twisn, right?
Re: Twin moms-how many u/s?
I have gotten one at every appointment.

I'm not a "mom" yet, but I will be getting one every appointment, which will be every 2 weeks. (I think that singletons only go in once a month at first?)
My OB said that they want to be able to monitor each twin carefully, and the best way to do that is with frequent u/s.
I see a specialist and they give me one at every appointment (every 4 weeks).
I have had one at every appointment. Usually they are just really quick ones.
I had my first u/s at 12 weeks (when we found out we were having twins) and since then I've had both external and internal (to measure cervical length and sometimes to check on the boys from a different angle, e.g. to determine who was A and who was at every visit--so far every 4 weeks. But when I've read stuff about twin pregnancies, it doesn't sound like the EVERY visit thing is universal (not with di/di twins, anyway); I've seen estimates as low as five ultrasounds throughout pregnancy.
(And at the practice I go to, there are six OBs and at least two different ultrasound rooms. A u/s tech does the u/s right before you go in to see the OB.)
I had all my u/s at my MFM once a month. My OB only used a doppler to check for heart beats. He did send me a few times to L&D after my stress tests where I got u/s. But scheduled ones were once a month.
