I love it! It is one of my top 2 girls names. I like that it is classic but not overused. I also like that it is versatile- can be used in full or can be broken into nicknames of a billion varieties (Ann, Anna, Annie, Ella, Bella, Belle, Elle, etc).
Beautiful name. My 9 year old neice is Annabelle. It wasn't heard that much back then but now it is really popular, although not as overused as Isabelle. My friend just named her DD Annabelle. I would still use it even if it is popular. I like how you spelled it, too- the classic way. My neice goes by Annie, which is pretty cute.
I know it's very popular right now, but for me it's a little too girly-girl. Plus, I always say it in my head with a Southern accent...even though I live in the midwest. He he.
I say YAY!!!!! My DBF and I are naming our daughter Anabelle, different spelling but it's the same!!!!! Did you know Anabelle means easy to love? We thought it was perfect. GOOD LUCK!!!!
