I bought the first response ovulation predictor kit but I have a question about it.....in the kit it says to use first morning urine, but I had read else where that I should use afternoon urine......so which is right? Also has anyone else used these tests before? Any success? My cycle is long 40-43 days and I am having trouble figuring out when I am ovulating....any tips/suggestions would be great appreciated. I also have been tracking my BBT and CM for three months now. CM is no help, it pretty much stays the same......I need help
Re: Ovulation predictor question....
I am not super familiar with FR OPK, I use CBE OPKs. I test around noonish, but there are some women that test twice a day.
As far as when to test, my first few cycles I started testing at CD10. After a few cycles I figured out that I don't O until CD 18 (or around there). Now I don't test until CD15.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
If you dont O till abound cd 26 i would not use the opk's till around day 22. I had really long cycles also. Most of the time I tested with the opk's in the late afternoon. Are you on FF yet? If not you can get on there though one of the girls sigs on here.
Good luck

Wait, are you using one of the fertility monitors? Because there's a big difference between an OPK and the CBEFM.
