miracle blanket users

Just started using the miracle blanket with DD a few days ago and her arms stay swaddled better than in the swaddle-me, but now the stinker can get her legs out super easy.  What am I doing wrong?

Are you tucking her feet in the pocket?  Is that what she is getting out of?  If so, you do have a little Houdini on your hands! :-)  DD could escape any swaddle except for the miracle blanket.  Ours was an impulse buy during a 3am screaming fest and it was our saving grace!  She still had to be swaddled at 6 months and we finally had to stop tucking her feet in the pocket because she was too tall.

I found instructions and a video on their website:

Maybe that will help?  Good luck!

HA!  That's exactly how I put her in it.  And she's getting her left leg out somehow.  Thanks for the link.

  • Fin always busted his legs out, but he still slept fine so I never worried. Hope you figure something out!

  • Is she still sleeping okay even though her leg is out? If her arms stay put and she does fine, I would just swaddle her with her legs out. That's what we did with Aubrey because she would get her legs out too.
