Cloth Diapering

WCW question

I got my first 2 soakers today & now I am paranoid I may have gotten the wrong size.  Maybe I need reassurance.

Anyway, DD is 21 lbs with chubby thighs.  I got Mediums.  Does that sound right?

DD1 born 5/24/10.

Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

DD2 born 5/14/13.

Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

Re: WCW question

  • my daughter is 18ish lbs and the mediums fit just right. but they supposedly stretch out more over time.

Cool.  Thanks.  I think I picked the correct size then.

  • My son was about 22lbs when I bought our first soaker and we got the Large. He has massive thighs though and it fits great there and might be a little big in the waste but not horrible (it works great). I don't know if the Med. would have fit him.

  • In my experience the rise is the bigger issue. We're not even 16lb and the medium rise is a bit low with some of his diapers.
  • DD is 23 lbs and still wears her medium and has plenty of room. They definitely do stretch out over time.  I was worried when I forst saw it because it looks tiny compared to my WB soaker, but they really stretch.  I just ordered 2 more mediums.

Thanks.  I was hoping you'd respond b/c our DDs appear to be built similarly & are roughly the same size.  Check out my comment on the Gloom & Doom post.  Would you be interested in involvement in a TT group custom list for Gloom & Doom?  I think there are enough of us that are lusting after that print to try to get something going.
