Bug Spray for Toddlers

I was looking at bug spray last weekend and even the stuff for kids has terrible stuff in it.

What do you guys use for bug spray?  Do you use any at all?

We live in Northern British Columbia where the bugs are the size of hummingbirds (haha) and we camp alot so I'm not sure what to do.

Avon's skin so soft and California Baby makes a spray that was recommened a few months back.

I got the Avon Skin-So-Soft Bug Guard. It has the picaridin repellant and is also SPF 30. A is allergic to mosquitos and gets huge welts every time he gets bitten. Too bad they seem to be EVERYWHERE these days.

We also use Avon Skin-So-Soft. They have one with SPF that I want to try this year. Also, my sister swears by stuffing scented dryer sheets into her socks and pockets when camping to keep the bugs away.
