The last 3 Fridays I have gotten my betas drawn.
Beta 1 (3w3d): 15
Beta 2 (4w3d): 500
Beta 3 (5w3d): 4308
The nurse said she hasn't been able to talk to my doctor about the numbers yet and will call me back with what she says sometime today. But right after she told me my numbers she was like "wow, are you really early?" Scared me to death, like my betas are horrible for my gestation. I told her I was 5w3d at my last blood draw and she told me that she will have to talk to my doctor to see what she thinks. I'm all panicky now that I'm going to have another miscarriage. What do you ladies think? Tell me these numbers are decent because my nurse completely freaked me out!
Re: 3rd beta results and a question
Hi there
I just posted something similar on 1st tri and someone responded with this link:
https://www.justmommies.com/articles/hcg-levels.shtml
It look like there can be a lot of variation. FWIW, I am 5w6d and mine was just 5,024. They didn't seem overly concerned with mine. I have to go back for another blood test tomorrow and an us in the next few days.
Your doubling time is great, especially given this chart!
I think your betas look good!
April 2011: Metformin 1500mg + Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel + Prometrium = BFP!
Beta #1 at 14DPO: 197 Beta #2 at 18DPO: 1296
At 40w6d, our Team Green surprise came by unplanned C-section and changed our lives forever!
Thanks, looking at other people's numbers make me feel better. If she just gave me the number and that was it I would have felt fine about it, but her tone is what really made me uneasy. I'll just chalk it up to a crazy nurse
thanks so much ladies! I knew if I came here I wouldn't have to have a nervous breakdown waiting to hear from the doctor
My RE likes to see doubling every 72 hours so that looks good to me!
BFP #1 6.17.10 - natural M/C 5w2d
BFP #2 8.4.10 - missed M/C, D&C 8w
BFP #3 1.18.11 - natural M/C 5w1d
BFP #4 5.6.11 - 13dpo: hcg 68, p 16.3; 16dpo: hcg 211,

BFP #5 4.28.13 - LO due 1/4/14
Ditto, the further along you get the slower the doubling time is. Your betas are looking great!
