I have one hotmail account that I've had forever. I use it for registering for ANYthing online, forums, filling out forms at the doctor's office, whatever. My gmail I only give to family and a few friends. It's still not a perfect solution, but it seems to help.
No.. it was my one and only email account.. AOL. I immediately changed my password and also my FB password, just in case. But I instantly got a bunch of bounce-backs and a few friends emailed me back that I was hacked.
Sigh. Maybe it will just go away? Or do I need to completely change emails now? I've had this email since the invention of email!

That happened to me too...apparently I sent everyone I know email about Viagra from a Canadian pharmacy, including DH. So, DH emailed me and said, "Why did you send me an email about Viagra?" Guess he was a little nervous!
I don't think I even changed my password to tell you the truth.
I never understood why some email accounts get hacked into and other don't. I have comcast and haven't had an issue but I also have a yahoo account (for coupons, store newsletters etc) and that one has been hacked into at least once this year. I don't think I changed my password when it happened and fortunately it hasn't happened again. I'm curious does changing the password actually stop the hacking from happening again?
