Snotty nose

Our little guy has a snotty nose and a little cough, no fever though.  Anything that will help this?  Should we have him sleep in his chair at night instead of laying flat?  Can you use Vick's at this age?

    My LO has the same. Our pediatrician has us spraying infant nasal spray as needed and just sucking, sucking, sucking. I also keep the humidifier on at night to help with her breathing. He said that she can be propped up at night but that she didn't need it.
