Canker sores

It looks like DS1 bit his upper lip. It's swollen and has a few white sores where his upper teeth are. He's in extreme pain and not sleeping well since it hurts to suck on his pacifier. I don't know what to do for him. He's getting Tylenol and motrin, offered cold things and drinks. I did some orajel even though it makes me nervous. He's too young to swish something in his mouth without swallowing it. Any advice??

Only thing I can think of is a popsicle.  Sorry, that sucks

Try putting Alum on it. It's a spice. Just a little bit on the sore and they will be basically gone by tomorrow. That is what I use when I get a canker sore. It does sting a little, but it's only brief.

My friend told me that ear wax is an old home remedy for canker sores.  And...it works!

Gross but natural and pain free?
