terrible ear ache

I know this is so random, but has anyone had a terrible ear ache around this time? From what I've googled, there's no relation to pregnancy. I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow, but just curious. Thanks!

That is odd.  Both of my ears have recently started hurting, especially my right one.  I don't ever get ear infections.  I've also noticed I'm getting headaches for the first time in my pregnancy too.  I keep wondering if it is just allergies or something.  I was recently diagnosed with early stages of preeclampsia so I also wonder if it is my blood pressure rising.  Best of luck and I hope you feel better.

I got one yesterday as a matter of fact. I went to an urgent care place and they gave me a script for nasal crom (which is actually otc) and some ear drops. I also have used a cold pack on the outer ear and taken some extra strength tylenol. It is still not 100% better today but feels so much better than it did. HTH :]

The nose spray is supposed to help reduce the fluid and the ear drops are supposed to help w/ the pain.

Thanks -- it's the oddest thing. I don't think i've ever even had an ear ache!
