fleece liners?

I am going to go an buy some fleece today to make some liners for DD for nighttime.  She wakes up as soon as she feels wet and she is then really grumpy about it!  I would like to try a fleece liner because it is not that she soaks her prefolds (they are hemp/cotton), rather that as soon as she feels it is wet she is upset.  What is the best type of fleece for me to buy?  I was thinking a microfleece, would that work?

i think any fleece will work.  i just bought super cheap fleece from walmart, no clue what kind it is, it was like $3 for a yard.  it works great for us!
