f/u to playdate- what should I bring with me?

of course the mom said not to bring a thing, but I hate to go empty handed. She said she had lots of cookies, muffins, etc in the house. What can I bring? I hate to show up empty handed. Errr...such a dilemma. Any ideas?

  • You could do something easy like Goldfish crackers.  Or fruit.

  • I would bring a snack that LO loves and make sure to have enough to share.
  • Do you know what the mom likes to drink? Maybe bring her a tea or something from a coffee shop?

I know she's a huge DD coffee drinker. Maybe I'll get her some DD coffee in the bag so she can brew it at home- I think I have a coupon for it too!

I say nothing.  It's kind of a rule with our playgroups that the hostess provides drinks and snacks.
