i'm a bit confused on how to pick out what size to get if i decide to try these out...... i mean i know how to measure ds for the rise and stuff, but i've only done it while he's wearing a prefold.. since i was measuring him to sew a wool cover to fit him.... so would i just attempt to measure him w/o a diaper?? or still measure him as if he were wearing a prefold?
i know it shouldn't make too much difference in the measurements, but i just want to make sure i order him the right size if i decide to take the plunge into sbish.
i have to say though, i'm shocked at how much these sell for. i just don't have the budget to spend $20-30 on ONE diaper... and even the used ones that are full of holes go for a decent penny.
i guess that means i should be able to recoup some/most of my costs then huh?
Re: sbish sizing ?
cheapest new ones i've found were on amazon, also $26 but w/free shipping at least...... i just have a really hard time justifying that price tag.... so i'm looking for some used ones.
Aside from my very first Sbish purchase, I always buy used and typically pay $15 to $17 ppd (for the sized snapped dipes in VGUC to EUC). You have to be quick when they come up at that price though because they get gobbled up fast! They are seriously among my favorite dipes.
