but I hope it's not too much to ask for T&Ps for my husband again. He had back surgery in February and now he has to have ANOTHER one next Tuesday (the 17th). His disc is deteriorated so badly that the surgeon is going to go in and completely remove the disc, put in some sort of spacer, some pins and rods, and then do a spinal fusion. Doc said this surgery will be more difficult since there is already scar tissue from the last surgery.

I asked his doctor what the odds are that this is going to fix him and he said there's a 65-75% chance that it will work. He can hardly walk as it is. He's only 30 years old so he is WAAAAY too young to be having all of these problems. Doc said there's a less than 10% chance that he could end up worse than he is now. He'll be in the hospital for up to a week and then there's a 2-3 month recovery time.

It's just one thing after another with us. Us losing the baby, his back, and now I have to go in for a colposcopy because I have some atypical cells when I went back for my follow up after the D&C. With the tornado ripping apart part of our neighborhood, we just can't seem to catch a break. Any thoughts and prayers you can send our way would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I'm so sorry all this is happening to y'all, Stu. Your DH (and you!) are in my prayers. I really hope this surgery works for him and he'll be back to his old self soon.

Ang, luckily we had ZERO damage at our house. Less than 1/4 mile down the road, the houses were completely wiped out. We had a bunch of debris and insulation and a few small tree limbs, but other than that, our house was perfectly fine!!!

Thanks ladies!!! I'm just a hot mess right now... I need a Crown on the rocks STAT!!! I don't think I've ever been this stressed out in my entire life. I couldn't go to work for like a week and a half, so my paycheck is seriously going to suck. Adam's starter JUST went out in his truck about an hour ago, so that's another bill we'll have to pay. It's just one thing after another. Karma is kicking my ass right now.
