Anyone use Luveris during IVF cycle?

Has anyone used Luveris during IVF cycle and if so what was the outcome? Was there an improvement with egg quality? We were unsuccessful on our first cycle ttc #2 and none of our embies made it past 4 cells on day 3. My Re wants to add Luveris to this cycle in hopes of getting better quality eggs. Hoping you lovely ladies have some experiences to share Thanks! (Posting from phone sorry for any errors)

I did for ivf #2 & 3. My re thought it wouldn't hurt when I mentioned adding it to my protocol. Both ivf's worked but #2 ended in a m/c. #3 was my best cycle, I have six frozen from that cycle. Ivf #1 I only got two embies. Gl!

I did for IVF # 4/5 and both cycles worked (not sure if it really helped with egg quality) but I tolerated the injections better vs Menopur and it worked

I've only done one IVF cycle so I don't have anything to compare it to.  My RE thought (correctly) that I wouldn't be a great responder and so he had me do a micro-dose lupron flare protocol using Gonal-f and Luveris.  I had 7 eggs retrieved, 6 were mature, 5 fertilized but then one arrested prior to our three day transfer.  On day 3 we transferred the best two (one 7 and one 8 cell I believe) and left the other two to develop.  One arrested prior to being frozen and the other was frozen on day 5.  The result of that IVF is our daughter.

Not sure about my egg quality but I used it with my last and finally successful cycle.

I did it with my second IVF, my RE felt that the Menopur was frying my eggs- using it did help my cycle a lot- all my eggs were mature and all of them fertilized. It worked but ended in m/c.

I used it during my successful IVF cycle.  It was in place of Menopur.  Some RE's prefer Luveris because it is 100% LH hormone and they can more closely control the dosage, whereas Menopur has a bit of FSH in it.  It is a bio-identical hormone and much more expensive than Menopur.  I think that's why it's not commonly used.  We had 7 eggs retrieved ( I am DOR), 5 mature, 3 fert, and transferred all 3.  Originally conceived triplets, delivered twins.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! From reading the posts it doesn't sound like it will hurt to add it to my protocol, but only make it better
