Dear jury duty, I am beyond happy not to be on that trial. 6 weeks was going to be tough, never mind the subject matter of the trial. Someone is watching out for me! Thanks, too much on my plate
Dear house, You do look amazing if I do say so myself. I choked up when I saw the official "for sale" sign in the yard this afternoon. You have served us well and I hope someone else can love you like we have. Love, 8 happy years
Dear DH, I know I have been OCD about getting the place looking as good as possible and you have every right to lock me up. I just hope you can forgive me if (when!) we sell it. You put up with more than you should have to. I love you more every day. Love, Wifey
Dear sleep, I miss you. I hope to see you more soon. Love, too much coffee
Dear boss, That raise/promotion would really come in handy soon. I hope your forecast of June/July is real and not tied up in red tape like everything around us is. Sincerely, want to be preapproved soon
Dear DD, You are priceless. That is all. Love, Mommy

Life is good!
Dear Fetus McFeterson, I know I complain about being uncomfortable and I'm sorry about that, but can you please stay in utero for at least the next 24 hours? Ideally I'd of course like you to be born full term (i.e. next week), but if not, can you at least wait until after your sister's dance recital at 4:30 pm tomorrow? I'd really hate to miss it and stealing her thunder this blantantly seems like a bad way to start off your relationship. I know it's irrational, but you'll soon understand that your sister is anything but rational. Thanks, your mother
You have been such a trooper with all this sickness lately! Grandma took you to the dr today and you have a cold, so we can't give you any medicine but I promise you will feel better before you know it. Mommy will give you extra snuggles when I get off work.
It is only Tuesday and it is already such a stressful week. I have only been back to work just a week. Already have back-to-back meetings, calls scheduled after 5:00 and deadline pressures. I took my mom to social security today. We now know for certain that she can't afford where she is living without both her's and my dad's social security check. My dad passed away a little more than a month ago so hia check is no longer available. I am sure we are going to have to supplement her income and my husband definitely is opposed to it. So hard to know what is the right thing to do. My LO has decided to stop napping.
Good things about this week. My husband sent me a text while I was at social security telling me he loved me. The two dozen long stem roses that he gave me for mother's day still look amazing. My girls are loving playing outside in the beautiful spring weather we are having. I love hearing them laugh outside. My nanny continues to do an amazing job with the girls and our new little son. My baby boy smiles more every day and every single grin is like a little gift. He continues to be such an amazing blessing.
This waking up to eat at 12 and 4, or 1 and 5 thing is rough. Could you please please please go back to your wonderful schedule of waking up to eat at 3 and 6?
I am sorry the weather is so beautiful and mommy is working the 10-6:30 all this week. We will play with that giant bubble wand in the big field by the house on Saturday I promise. In the mean time though, please stop making mommy feel bad about going to work with such 2 year old phrases as "dont leeeeeave me!" and "I no see Joey I go work with mommy"...
Love your Mommy
Dear Life:
Somedays I wonder why you give me so much at one time to digest. Even just a one month break would be a blessing.

Dear Professor, Please don't make the final so difficult tomorrow night that I can't get the B I need to keep an A in your course. I'm an over-achiever, accept that. Signed, wants better for her family
Dear Husband, I know that you care about me doing well in school but have other things on your mind so I won't bore you with those details. However our daughters daycare situation concerns both of us. Step it up, yo. Signed, I love you anyway
Dear Mom & Dad, Your drama is not welcome here! I am coming over this weekend so we can be a civil family but I swear to all that is holy if you screw over my daughter EVER, you will never see any of us again. Signed, Your fed up daughter
Dear DD, Please talk. While your babbling is so cute, I'm getting concerned that you have yet to say an actual word. You're still perfect and I love you to pieces. Even when you wake me up at 5:30 and make me watch that dumbass Agent Oso & his creepy talking head. Loving you always, Mommy
It is not 1955. It is possible to be both a lawyer AND a mom, and asking for maternity leave and to return to work part-time is not some sort of unprecedented, newfangled notion. Please just approve the leave and part-time proposal I spent hours working on and stop picking it apart. Also, by not having a written policy, don't kid yourselves that that makes you "flexible." If you were "flexible" you would not drag out this decision, making me wait in limbo, all the while freaking out that I won't have anything in place by the time I go into labor.
I would love for you to get closer to 'normal.' All of this change with loosing my job, new insurance, new job and new players at work since 'coming back' from maternity leave is stressful and i would love a break.
Thanks,
Stressed out mom
Dear DDs,
I love both of you so much and you make all of the stress above a little easier with your smiles and hugs.
Love, mommy
Dear DH,
Thank you for putting up with me, I haven't been myself recently and am trying very hard to find her again. You rock!
What's on your mind? Vents, confessions, thanks...
Thanks for starting this. It was good to read what everyone shared. Makes you remember that there is good and bad everywhere and everyone has joys and stress.
Thanks a lot for leaking, and then falling on my foot when I tried to fix you. Hope I didn't break anything.
Dear Husband- stop buying stupid expensive crap which never arrives, so I don't feel guilty about buying the essentials like work clothes or ACs that works.
Dear DH - thanks for getting an early flight home tonight. DD has been missing you all week, and she'll be so happy to see you before bedtime. Love, Lonely Wife.
Dear DD - I'm sorry you were so sad when I left today. You made me cry on the way to work today, and my heart broke just a little bit. You're going to have a great day, and Daddy will be home soon. Love, Sad Mommy
Dear Fellow Commuter - I'm sorry I offended your delicate sensibilities by asking you to share a seat that is actually made for 3 people. I know you were all spread out, nice an comfy, with your stuff all over the seat, but unless you bought 3 tickets, you really only get one seat. There was really no need for such a ridiculous attitude when I asked you polietely to move over. Signed, Slightly Amused
