Recommend your tree guy..

We have two smallish trees that didn't survive the drought. Probably 10 inches in circumference..

Anyone know a good company who will remove them?

We had 2 quotes for removal of 1 black locust (35 ft) and trimming of 3 more that were almost inaccessible (35 ft+) after the ice storms in 2007.

Arbor Design gave us a great quote to cut the one tree down and stack the wood for us (that's what we asked), as well as have 2 guys climb to trim (a lot of places don't let guys climb anymore). They also cleaned up everything really well. We did not have the stump pulled. I would highly recommend them  - and the references I checked gave high recommendations. I think it was about $900 for the whole job. 513-851-3399

I also got a quote from Sherdec Tree Svc on that job and they wanted to bring out a crane - with a minimum $1200 charge to bring the crane. I wasn't all that impressed with the sales shpeil.

Hey thanks so much. I am hoping this is less. I think the three is 20feet tall and thin. I wish DH would let me use the chain saw..I would do it myself. Seriously, DH!
