Fogo de Chao question

Would you take a toddler?

I ask because I don't want to be That Parent.

I haven't been in ages. We would be taking a pair of inlaws..DH gave them a GC to the San Antonio location and they won't go alone. Yes, they are weird.

I am all for getting a sitter for a few hours, but DH is saying that since they are coming to see DS it isn't an option.

If the toddler is well behave and eats, then yes.

If no, then I would only take the toddler during the day time (lunch or early dinner).

Emmy was a pretty good toddler and I would have taken her at that age, but Ally is a different story and is all over the place and screams when she doesn't get her way.  So I wouldn't take Ally for dinner time.

  • We take our toddler everywhere. I always bring a little mat and crayons. Also, we go early so LO is not overtired. Lunch is a great option and it's cheaper.
  • I wouldn't take a toddler, but I just sat at a table next to a horribly behaved kid at lunch with mom.

Weekday lunches at Fogo are usually business people, so maybe not the best place/time for a toddler.

I would for an early dinner.  In my experience you can get in and out pretty fast--it isn't usually a long dinner.  Also, it is quite loud so I wouldn't worry about my toddler being noisy.

For a later dinner or during lunch?  No.
