Normal? Or would you be worried?

This is probably dumb, but I'm getting a little concerned with some stomach/lower abdominal pain I'm having. It started during the night and is just a bloated, crampy, yuck feeling in my stomach and ute. My back also aches in a few places. It's not coming in waves; it's constant. Last night I had a small glob of sticky CM but nothing since. I think I might call the dr if it doesn't go away by this afternoon. I'm a little freaked because I did the mini on Saturday, but just walked. I'm also thinking it could very well just be some delayed aches and pains from that. Your thoughts?

This may not be the best advice, but I would call the doctor.  I probably overreact to situations like that, but wouldn't you rather be safe than sorry?  You are right - it could totally be related to the mini, but I think making the phone call to the doctor is definitely worth the peace of mind.  There is no reason to sit there and worry about it when the doctors are there for you.  It can't hurt to talk to a nurse about it and explain the situation.  That's my 2 cents.

  • Definitely call for peace of mind-- you are paying them the big bucks so use the nurses as much as you need!  I had some strange pains at different times in my pregnancy and some mucous in the beginning and delivered a healthy baby, so it's probably nothing.  Do you have an appointment soon?  Definitely mention it then even if they go away.

  • I am one of those "call the doc" people, too.  It's what they're there for!

  • i always worry about being the neurotic, worrywart, patient who calls about everything.  but in the end, when i decide to call i'm always thankful because either the "problem" was resolved or they calmed my fears.  so i would say - call! :)

let us know what they say!

  • Thanks for all the feedback, ladies!  I called and talked to a nurse today, and she said it sounds like round ligament pain.  Doh!  I'm glad I called though.  I have an appointment on Thursday too so if it persists I don't have too long to wait to actually see someone.
  • I would have called too. Hope your appointment Thursday will further ease your mind!
