today has been a rough day for naps. Either it takes a long time to get her to sleep or she wakes up after only 20-30 minutes. It doesn't seem to matter whether she's been awake 3 hours or only 90 minutes. Anyone else have this problem with a ~6 week old?
Babies have sleep cycles that run anywhere from 20-40 minutes so especially for naps they will wake up each time. If you go back and try to rock them back to sleep immediately, it usually works (at least for us it does). DS naps in his crib so I swaddle him, turn on the sleep sheep (white noise would be really helpful for you too), and give him his pacifier if needed and he will go back to sleep.
