Part of me wants to see how much my body has changed from this whole thing by trying on my pre-pregnancy jeans. I feel like all I've gained I boob and belly, and there's a chance they'll fit and just not close. Anybody else try this? This would be a bad idea right? Ignorance is bliss kind of thing?

Re: Don't let me do it

Jeans? No way. I wouldn't even try. I have mat jeans from the early days that aren't even comfortable anymore - now that's a self-esteem killer.
But, I do have a pair of khaki pants that were ever so slightly loose before pregnancy. I can still wear them (unzipped and unbuttoned, with a belly band).
This exactly.
You made me feel better that I'm not alone. I have a pair of really nice (and not cheap) Pea in the Pod jeans that I bought around 16 weeks. They still fit, but they are uncomfortable and I take them off the second I can, and I hate sitting in them for any period of time. I honestly thought they'd be the only jeans I'd need for this pregnancy ... I was wrong
I picked up one pair this morning (thinking they were a different pair) and when I realized what they were, I dropped them like they were on fire. They were getting tight before I got pregnant.
I have a pair of super low rise Charlotte Russe's that were pretty loose in the waist when I got pregnant. I still wear them, usually with a belly band. They actually work pretty well, thought they sit much lower than they use to.
Mine fit also. I only wear maternity jeans on Tuesdays because I have to sit for a long time and my regular jeans are getting tighter. The same thing with my previous pregnancy and I actually wore my regular jeans home from the hospital. I was kind of showing off but they werent comfortable at all. I'll wear sweats or pajamas home this time!
Same here, all my jeans are packed away in a rubbermaid container and far far away from my bedroom. It's just better that way.

Here We Go Again!!
28 weeks tomorrow & Im still not wearing maternity clothes. Im holding out for as long as possible, I may need to give into the shirts soon though because my bellys getting big & shirts are starting to get short. Jeans though Im still wearing with no problem & no end to wearing them in sight.
With DS I was able to wear regular jeans til the end.
This time...not so much. I haven't been able to fit into regular jeans for months.
