Measuring at 37 weeks!

I just got back from my doctor and she said I am measuring at 37 weeks!! They scheduled an ultrasound in 2 weeks(right before my next doc appointment since my docs office is at the hospital I don't want to make 2 trips) to see if he's a little chubby man or I am really measuring that early, its so scary to think about! I know this can not amount to anything but still!

Our baby is and has been measuring big since the first ultrasound at 8 weeks.  Yesterday they also said he's over 6 pounds and his head and belly are measuring at 37 weeks, which seems crazy!  I know they can be off a bit, but since he's been measuring big from the start I think they are correct that we are going to have a big boy on our hands!

I think measuring two weeks ahead is okay : ) You may just have a chubby baby!

I agree w/ the PP. I don't think it's a problem measuring a couple weeks ahead. Your baby might be more filled out than others

I was measuring a little over 3 weeks ahead at my 34 wk appt, (as well as ahead the whole month before that) I'll probably be going back for another u/s next week after my regular ob appt. It could be a growth spurt or a bigger baby! I'm fine with either, as long as my dr doesn't mention c-section again! And then I can't do much besides tell him no, I want to try for a vaginal birth since u/s aren't perfect!!
