pain to the side of belly button

Just wondering if anyone else has had some pain to the side and around your belly button? I started feeling sore to the touch last night and it was better this morning, but now I'm hurting again. Just wondering if it may just be stretching or something I need to be concerned about.

keep an eye on it. It may be gas or stretching.  CHeck for a fever and if the pain becomes sharp and moves to your lower tight side of your stomach call your doctor.  While most of our pains and cramping are normal it is entirely possible to still get appendicitis.

I felt this the other day, it was to the left of my belly button. It was a sharp pain. I'm pretty sure its stretching... I haven't felt gas pains that high up. Plus, I was just at my OB and the level it was painful was where she said to top of my uterus was. It may be round ligament pain.
