what to do... LO's wide awake after bedtime routine!

I did the usual... lotion, jammies, nurse... he got pissy nursing, so I put him down. Now he's upstairs babbling and banging his feet! Do I get him up or leave him be? Decisions, decisions.... DS1 never went through the 4 mo wakeful, if that's what this is!

This is EXACTLY what I'm going through right now!!  It's awful!  We were up 7 times last night between 11:00 (the first time I finally got her down)- 1:00am!  Even the few times that we were able to get her in her crib asleep, she woke up within 5 mins.    Needless to say, Mommy and Daddy are exhausted!!

She had been going down so well... this is NIGHT 5 of the "wakefulness".

Here are some things that KIND OF work for me: singing to her while rocking, putting her down on her tummy and patting her butt.

We'll see what tonight brings, but I'm not very hopeful...
