Update on C re: Should I be concerned

I apologize for the formatting.... On the advice of you lovely ladies and info from Beth, I took C in to the Dr regarding his potential speech issues. The Dr wanted us to get a speech evaluation as well as a hearing test and put him on Zyrtec since he seems to have inherited daddy's allergies. She was concerned about him always being congested and would hope this will help in some way. His speech evaluation was good. He scored a 95 on his expressive speech but only a 70 on his receptiive speech. The speech therapist wanted the hearing results before deciding on a course of treatment. We had his hearing tested yesterday and overall it went well. He might have a slight issue with his left ear but since he wouldn't keep the earbuds in the whole time it was difficult to accurately check. Since there is no major issues we now go onto deciding about therapy or not. Right around the time of these first appointments I tore a ligament in my ankle, then we went on vacation, so needless to say it has been busy around here. Thank you ladies for the advice, now we move forward! Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!

Sorry I had to post and run earlier, we are very relieved! My H was so nervous about it all, I had never seen him so emotional thinking something could be "wrong" with his boy. We just need to decide now if we want to do therapy or wait and see for a bit. Either way, he is happy and thriving and that is all that matters!
