if LO doesnt finish a bottle of BM..

How long do you leave it out/refrigerated for before discarding it?

He drinks between 3-4 oz each time, and I hate wasting an ounce if he doesnt finish it   But i also don't want to have to put down a screaming baby to go get more  milk!!

we only do 1-2 bottles/day so its not like I can realistically give him the remainder in a few hours. Would you save the oz until the nighttime bottle and give it then?

I would.  kellymom says if the bottle isnt finished you can refrigerate and use it at the next feeding.  That can be hours away or even the next morning for us.  I have always done it and we have had no problems over here.

At home, I'll leave it about an hour.  If he's at daycare, I tell them 90 minutes, because with the way they feed him, he'd be out of milk in a flash.
