Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Anyone else?

Does anyone else have a baby that still doesn't have any teeth? Or do I just make kids who like to stay gummy as long as possible?

Makayla didn't get teeth until she was around 7 months old. And Kirstin seems to be following in her big sisters foot steps.

    No teeth here.

We have one teeny tiny spot that has barely broken the surface.  But, other than that Kate is totally gumming it!

My oldest nephew didn't get his first tooth until he was 18 months old.

  • None here. We are the NTC (No Teeth Club).

Still no teeth. We thought one had poked through a couple months ago but it looks like they're just right below the surface. She seems to have been teething forever.

Yep we are in the same boat Kirky.

  • Nope, no teeth here...she is good at gumming though.

I have heard that even when your child has teeth, the first ones to come in are usually the front and they don't chew with the front anyway.

18 months is a long time. Hopefully he wasn't a fussy baby during that time.

Kirstin showed signs of teething at 2 months. I got excited, but since then no action. She chews on everything in sight.

My sister was totally freaked out that he didn't have any teeth at all.  But, they got an xray of his mouth from a pedi dentist and discovered they were indeed there!

He cut everything within a month.  And while that month was hell, my sister preferred it to months and months of the more traditional teething her second went through.

  • No teeth here. Or, really, any sign of teeth.

That is crazy! I would rather the one month worth of teething too.

  • No teeth here! I can feel the two bottom ones just hangin' out under the gums, but they aren't ready to party on up yet.

No teeth here yet either, but according to my mom I didn't get my first tooth until I was over 7 months old so maybe DD is taking after me instead of DH on this one (he got his first tooth at 5 months).

  • DS still doesn't have any teeth either.  I can't even feel them (or see them) under his gums.  He started having teething symptoms at about 4 months and the symptoms come and go.

  • I feel much better knowing it's not just my kids. I was starting to get jealous reading " we got teeth posts".

  • Caleb has one trying to pop through now. I noticed the bump on Sunday. Which explains his crabbiness and the amount of sleep he was getting for the several days beforehand. He'll be 7 months tomorrow.
  • My girl will be 9 months in 2 days and still no sign of teeth. It is kind of nice since we are still bfing.
