Pregnant after 35

And I finally feel some MOVEMENT! :o)

I?ve been feeling some movement (like butterflies) here & there.  Mind you I am overweight so I knew it would take ahwile.  But today when I was on the phone ordering my lunch.  Lil Mr. Man decided to kick me!   LMAO!  I jumped up & started to cry, it was awesome!

Im not sure if he was just excited because I was ordering a cheese steak or if he was mad that I wasn?t ordering a salad!  HA HA HA!! Stick out tongue

  • Yay!:) The best feeling ever. It took me a while too to feel the real movements (anterior placenta), but now my LO is kicking me everywhere:)

And yes, I think your little guy was excited about the cheese steak!:)

  • Love it!!

I'm moving into the "stop moving already" stage...and it's early still for that!!  This LO likes to jam up into my ribs (which HURTS) or likes to play with my bladder...which gives me UTI like symtoms (have to pee NOW and slightly painful - but then I try to pee and it's more like drip drip nothing *ugh*)

The fun part is that my son will walk up to me - put his hand on my stomach and say "wake up Twerp - Brother wants to play!"  Makes me grin...he has yet to feel his brother kick him yet but it's coming!!  It take patience...

  • Yay! I swear it took forever for me to get to that point due to my anterior placenta.

It seems that even some of the movements I can see but not feel are due to all the scar tissue from my Open Gastric bypass. Doc says that's why some of the movements are so painful as well.

At this point, I'm at the "woo hoo, I get my body back in a month!" stage.

This exactly!  I finally pushed her Foot (?) out of my ribs last night and it felt soooo goood. For the exact 2 minutes until she stuck it back in there!

That is so great to feel that first kick!!! Enjoy it now, it kinda gets old by the end! LOL I actually wonder if I am going to miss it?????
