I'm so sorry you are going through this.  What a tough situation to be in.  We had not so great NT results a few weeks ago and also did a CVS.  Everything turned out fine and my MFM Dr told me only no lifting my son (who is 32 pounds) for the day of the procedure.  I did normal activity, including hauling him around, the next day.  Maybe your Dr is just being extra cautious.  Good luck and hang in there.
