hemorrhoids...will the itching ever end? warning very TMI

Harry the hemorrhoid moved in a couple weeks ago.   I had some pain and itching but a couple days of witch hazel wipes and hemorrhoid cream calmed him down.   

I continued to use the wipes.

Well, Harry got lonely and Helen moved in last week.   OMG the pain!   The burning!   The itching!   Nothing helped.   I was in agony for several days.   Tucks pads.   Tucks cream.   3 different types of Prep H.   Nothing was helping.

Finally, the pain stopped and I just had uncomfortable itching off and on all day, usually after going to the bathroom(for #1 and #2)    

Then last night...the itching came back.   I think I have internal hemorrhoids too.   I feel like liquid is dripping out my butt and I read that your body creates mucus to help soothe the inside anal area when you have internal ones.   And then the outside gets irritated when mucus leaks out. 

And then this morning, I discovered that Harry and Helen had twins!!!!    Yes, 2 new hemorrhoids have popped up.

I can't take any more!   I have been drinking tons of water and eating so much fiber.   I'm not constipated and not straining at all when I have a BM.   I am making sure I clean the entire anal area afterwards.   I am not wiping, I'm patting.    I wear loose fitting cotton granny panties during the day and have been sleeping with just    a nightgown and no panties at night so everything can air out.    

My poor butt is so raw and itchy.   Nothing at all is helping.    What else can I do?

Ouch!!  Sorry that you are in such discomfort Sounds like you might need to call your doctor.

Try soaking3 to 4 times a day in a sitz bath with epsom salt. If you don't have a sitz bath, you can use a normal bath for several minutes in epsom salt. And if at all possible, refrain from sitting, lay on your side for as much as possible.Also try applying ice the hemorrhoids after the warm bath.  If you're sure you have internal hemorrhoids, Prep H has suppositories you can use, as well as ointment that can be used on internal and external hemorrhoids.

Hope you unwanted guests take the hint and hit the road!

oh man, I feel for you.  I just have one big guy.  Like PP said, I've found alternating hot baths and cold compresses helps.  I fill a tube sock with crushed ice and sit on it.  I wash the sock with my undies and will toss it when this ordeal is over.
