XP: Ikea crib question

My parents want to get a crib for Charlie for when we visit them. Would you recommend yours? Which one did you get? Did you purchase their mattress too? Thanks!

We got the Leksvik with the Vyssa Sloa mattress. Like the look of the crib, and it's very sturdy, but had read that it's slightly bigger than some so we got the IKEA mattress to ensure a tight fit.

I got the Ikea Gulliver and I really like the crib, simple, no frills and it turns into a nice toddler bed.  I bought a Naturepedic mattress, I actually spent quite a bit more on the mattress than the crib, but you don't have to do that.

Gulliver here, too.  It's wonderful.  We have an expensive Colgate mattress.

Got this crib and the Sealy Soybean Core Foam Mattress from Amazon. Fits perfect.

We have the Gulliver white Ikea crib and the sealy soyfoam mattress. Great fit and the mattress can usually be found on sale at Amazon too.

ditto this exactly.  i figured the mattress is what they are directly on so the better place to spend more.
