and I am SHOCKED that I absolutely LOVE the name.
I was prepared with my list of names, but I really do not think I need them. Even my mother likes the name, which is TOUGH because she still thinks there is a boy cooking in there. Sorry mom! So, this baby will most likely be..
Charlotte Ella Jane S*****
What do you all think?
Re: I let DH take the lead with naming this little girl..
I know! We had a boy picked out before we even started trying. It would have been
Isaac Waldon Jhames
or
Kai Lucas Ovie
The girl name was TOUGH.
I really like that he took some of the things I wanted into consideration. My great grandmother was Elenora, and I miss her so much. She died at the age of 98 when I was 8 years old. He got "Ella" from that, and Janet is my aunt who just beat a three year battle with cancer. "Jane" is where that came from. :]
I'm going to make an AWESOME big brother.
We didn't name our guy until 3rd tri, but that was mostly out of my own worries. (And we still haven't shared it.)
I like that your DH took into consideration sentimentality of family names. Will you call her Charlotte or use a middle name?

That part we have no really decided. I like Charlotte as is, and I am not a fan of nick-names. DH said he would call her Char-Char. lol.
Out of curiosity, why do you have 3 names? Will 2 of them be "middle" names?
I like the names though - they're nice and classic.
That part was all DH.
When Emmarie was born, he was insistent that he have his brothers middle name Ray as a middle name. His ex, also had a family tradition that the first girl was to have Rose as a middle name. So it was Emmarie Ray Rose S****. He really wanted to keep that going with our kids, and much to my families dismay, I kind of like it. =]
