I'm having one of those days, or weeks, where I can't get over how fast my Mikey's growing. He's so tall and eats so much and is starting to say sentences. He was just a teeny, tiny baby a little while ago. ::sniff::
I'm right there with ya. The other night, Caleb counted to 5 unprompted. I usually have to start him off, and he'll say the alternating number, but this night he just rattled them off, over and over, at the top of his lungs. They do grow up so darn fast!

Yep! Just 5 minutes ago when I checked on C in his crib, I mentioned to DH that it's amazing how he pretty much covers the whole crib when he's stretched out. What happened to our babies?????

I had the same observation this week, but I have the exact opposite reaction - I am SO excited about what a wonderful person Sarah has become, and I don't miss the baby stage one bit. If I could skip that phase with Sarah's sister and start right at 1 year old, I'd do it!

awwww. I have those moments a lot with Rachel. I just can't believe how much she has changed over the last 11 months. Parenthood has been amazing so far.

I think having 2, I'm fully aware of how fast the "little baby" stage is over. My son is almost at the end of it, and, unlike with DD, I do kind of miss the newborn time. DD shot up so fast, I turned around and was like "hey, where's the baby?" So I really took the time to enjoy DS newborn time. They're so sweet and cuddly, and SLEEPY! LOL But now, thinking that he might be my last baby, I'm like wow...really? No more feeling the baby kick? No more sweet baby coming into the world? No more nursing the little one, and nuzzling the soft fuzzy hair??? Of course he's at that stage where he's still a baby, getting independent, but not fully there yet. So when he is walking talking,etc...I may feel differently.
