If you went straight to ivf and all of the tests on your end came back normal, what protocol did your doctor put you on for your ivf cycle?
How did you respond?

Antagonist. The first dose (125menopur/125follistem) they put me on was a little too low, they doubled it at day 5 of stims and I responded very well to it. We had a spread of sizes due to the initial low dose and when it came time to retrieve we had:
11 out of 17 with eggs.
9 out of 11 mature,
8 out of 9 fertilize.
7 out of 8 made it to day 5,
2 very pretty blasts were transferred, 2 blasts were frozen at 5 day, 3 slow growers were being evaluated for a day 6 freeze (the RE expected 2/3 to make it but I haven't checked back in yet)
They'll probably tweak a second fresh cycle slightly to keep the follicle sizes more closely packed but overall it was a very very good response and I can't imagine the RE deciding to change it up given how many good embryos we wound up with.

All of my tests were normal as well as a normal sa for dh. We skipped the iui process and went straight into ivf. My re put me on an antagonist protocol. Started on bcp's for a week. Stimmed with menopur and follistim. Suppressed with ganirelix. Triggered with lupron vs hcg. We did this because I was very close to having ohss.

Siggy Challenge:The Day My Embryos Were Transferred
He had to do 6 cycles of unmedicated iui's to satisfy insurance, then I went to two REs for opinions. Both initially considered a long lupron cycle but I was switched to a short cycle (bcp, Follistim, Ganirelix, trigger) because of a Lupron shortage.
I responded very quickly so they had to adjust the dosage, but they retrieved 25 eggs, 18 fertilized and all are still growing on day three though there are some that will likely drop off and 8 clear front runners.

I do not know all the terms and "protocols" but here is what we did. I am completely "normal" but my husbands sperm do not swim or fight in layman's term so the issues stims from him. I was on the BCP for March 14-March 30 (17 days). Then March 31st I started 20 ml of Lupron until April 6th. I started 2 vials of Menopur and 150 IU of Follistim on April 6th and continued to take 10 ml of Lupron. Today I just had my 3rd ultrasound and I have 12 eggs my largest being a 14 and my smallest that they counted being a 5. She says that I am responding very well and that I will most likely have my ER on Tuesday. She does think that my doctor is going to up my meds but I will not know until this afternoon. So as of now this is what I have been on and like I said I haven o clue what "protocol" this is.
Best of luck to you

Long Lupron
Our dx is severe MFI with IVF as the only option. I'm on an antagonist protocol ... menopur/follistim/ganirelix.
I'm on day 5 of stims so I can't really say how well I'm responding. I do have follies growing if that helps.

PAIF or SAIF Welcome
Our diagnosis is severe MFI so we went right to IVF. Our first protocol was antagonist. I had 16 follies and they retrieved 8 mature eggs - mistimed my trigger. For IVF 2 we are doing a long lupron (using synarel instead of lupron - they are both GnRH agonists) protocol and have also added dostinex, low-dose aspririn, and acupuncture.
Good luck.
All of my bw has come back fine, SA fine for H too. RE put us on the long lupron protocol. I just did day 6 of stims so I don't know how I'm responding, but apparently I'm moving along fine.
Starting dose was 225 of FSH for first 3 days, then it was increased to 300 of FSH. With each stim shot goes along with 75iu of Luveris.
1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
