XP: Going out to eat..when to be concerned about allergies.

DH and I are going to Texas Roadhouse tonight with FIL for dinner--taking LO with us.  DH just called and said "This might be a stupid question, but should we be concerned about peanut allergies?".  I didn't know the answer.  So...this might be a stupid question, but if peanuts are EVERYWHERE in that restaurant, is that something we should be concerned with?  Nobody from either of our families has a peanut allergy, but we obviously don't know about LO yet.

  • If no one else has peanut allergies you should be fine as long as there are no peanuts going in your LO's mouth. To be extra safe you could also use wipes/clean your hands after touching peanuts and before touching little one.
