How to clean Sophie?

Our Sophie the Giraffe has been pretty well used by my DS, but it still seems fine to pass on to the babies. How should I clean it? Does the squeaker stop working if it's immersed in water?

Nope! Just warm soapy water will do the trick

mine fell in a parking lot so I wanted to really clean it. I stuck it in the dishwasher and the squeaker sounds different now but it got disinfected

I wouldn't want to submerge it because you'll never get all that water out of the inside and it will grow nasty crap in there that you will expel when it gets squeeked. 

I'd just wash the exterior with the soap/water or disinfectant of your choosing.  Rinse but don't submerge.

I'd try some safe, or organic, antibacterial wipes.  That's what I've been using on all of her toys lately.

Just don't submerge Sophie in water or put him/her in the dishwasher.

This is what we did
